WIRF workshop with Hilary Hutcheson
Event Information
About this Event
Hilary Hutcheson is the FIRST speaker to kick off our Women in Recreational Fishing Workshops.
Hilary is paving the way when it comes to women and ALL things fishing in the US.
Hilary is a fly-fishing guide, instructor for Casting for Recovery, runs her own fly store, serves as a national board member of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, is a climate activist with Protect Our Winters and is a contributing editor for Fly Fisherman Magazine.
She is an ambassador for YETI, Orvis, Costa, Patagonia and Scientific Anglers and has used her journalism background to guide, co-own and operate Outside Media and Trout TV in Montana.
The workshop will cover what we can learn from her experiences and challenges and how we can incorporate some of her strategies to encourage more women to give fishing a go in Victoria.
Light refreshments will be provided.
There's on-street free and paid parking in the area.
