"A Celebration of Being Human: Embracing the Winter Solstice"

Date: Saturday 22nd June
Time: Arrival between 5:00 PM - 5:10 PM for a 5:15 PM start
Location: 216 York Street, South Melbourne

In the embrace of a Saturday night, we come together to honor all aspects of the human experience—joy, love, excitement, and even sadness. This is a ceremony for the heart-centered, a space where we can slow down, reflect, and reconnect with ourselves and each other.

As the winter solstice approaches, we pause to acknowledge the turning of the seasons and the opportunity it brings to come inward.

The eveing will begin with Acknowledgement to Country and honouring of Mother Earth and introducing ourselves and our anceictors into the space. Guided by intuition, we'll embark on a journey of meditation, quieting the mind to open ourselves to the wisdom of the heart.

Our journey continues with a journaling activity, offering a chance for personal reflection and insight. Through the act of writing, we'll delve deeper into the themes of the solstice, embracing the stillness and wisdom that reside within all of us. The answers are there. Are we ready to listen?

Throughout the evening, we'll honor our connection to Mother Earth, recognizing the profound bond that unites us all. A sacred space will be set aside, adorned with symbols of nature, where we can offer our gratitude and intentions.

As the ceremony draws to a close, we'll come together once more in a Circle of Gratitude. Here, under the gentle glow of candlelight, we'll express our thanks for the gifts of the earth, the blessings of community, and the beauty of being human.

Yoga mats and bolsters will be provided, and you're welcome to bring a blanket and journal and an item for your personal alter. Please arrive promptly to ensure a smooth start to our evening of celebration and connection.

Let us gather, let us pause, let us simply be.

See you there.

Love.
