Event Details

This program is suitable for adults.

Although not the busiest season on the gardening calendar, winter in Canberra gardens is nonetheless a time for pottering, planting of some species, and planning for spring.  Local horticulturist and Canberra Weekly garden writer Tracey Bool will be giving a winter gardening presentation including:

  • Protecting your plants from the cold
  • What to plant in winter
  • Plant and garden maintenance over the cooler months
  • Getting ready for the spring gardening season

 

Please note:

  • Bookings are essential for this program as places are limited.  We are unable to accommodate participants who have not made a booking.
  • Please contact the library if you wish to amend or cancel your booking. This will enable others to participate in the program. 
  • Please arrive 10 mins early to allow time to check in; this assists the program to run on schedule.
