Wings to Fly - Scenic Rim (29th and 30th July 2026)

The Centre BeaudesertBeaudesert, QLD
Wednesday, Jul 29 at 9 am to Thursday, Jul 30 at 3:30 pm
Overview

IMPORTANT: Participants MUST attend both sessions to successfully complete the Wings to Fly program

This workshop is designed to support educators in delivering Wings to Fly™, a social and emotional wellbeing program for children from birth to five years old. Over two days, participants will explore current research in neuroscience, developmental and cognitive psychology, and attachment theory, and reflect upon their practice by engaging in critical conversations.

Focus will be on building a way of working which supports children’s social and emotional development, and builds resiliency. Participants will engage in learning experiences designed to assist them in understanding children’s behaviour and cultivating calm, nurturing learning environments which prioritise connection and belonging. They will develop a tool kit of strategies that grow the capacity of children to self-regulate, show empathy and kindness toward others, and experience a greater sense of self-awareness.

Wings to Fly has been awarded Evidence Based status through the Australian Institute of Family Studies.

Each of the 2 days will run from 9am-3.30pm. Participants will be required to attend both days to receive their certificate of completion as well as access to additional materials, resources and support through the Online Learning Portal.

*Morning tea and light lunch will be provided
