If your disability service organisation is navigating their transition to the NDIS in Wimmera South-West rollout sites, National Disability Services (NDS) invite you to attend our first Warrnambool NDIS Readiness Workshop: Transformational Change in the NDIS Environment.

The Wimmera South-West NDIS Readiness Workshop in Warrnambool provides:

• A valuable opportunity to come together with your sector peers and explore actions that can be undertaken to ready your organisation for the NDIS.
• Up-to-date news from key agencies, including; NDS, NDIA, DHHS and the Local Area Coordinator.
• Accounts of 'real world' NDIS approaches from providers in the Barwon trial site.
• An introduction to key NDIS documents and resources with an overview of the provider registration process.

Transformational Change in the NDIS Environment Workshop

During this session, NDS are pleased to have NFP strategic consultant Michael Goldsworthy present an interactive workshop on navigating transformational change - in business practice and organisational capability in an NDIS environment.

Michael looks forward to introducing the 7 key business domains of focus for transition (as identified in the NDS Provider Readiness Toolkit) and assist with familiarisation of this insightful self-assessment tool for NDIS readiness. Michael will also discuss practical application of its concepts.

Morning tea an lunch will be provided on the day, with ample time to ask any questions of our friendly and knowledgeable NDS Sector Engagement Team and other agency representatives.

Please note, NDS will be running the same NDIS Readiness Workshop #1 both in Warrnambool and Horsham to best enable providers throughout Wimmera South-West to attend.

Registration

NDS recommends strategic leaders within disability service organisations are most suited to attend including; CEOs, CFOs, HR Managers, Team Leaders and other strategic/organisational managers as appropriate.

Learning and Development

Although not mandatory, the NDIS Readiness Workshop #1 is designed as a precursor to enrolment in the Learning and Development training sessions below - with cost subsidised by the Victorian Government. Please click the links provided for further details and registration.
