Get ready to celebrate World Wildlife Day in Logan! Meet native animals and learn from wildlife experts.
Adults can learn more about local wildlife and receive practical advice on how to create wildlife-friendly spaces on their property. They'll also discover how to help local organisations rescue and care for our wildlife, and have questions answered by Council's environment officers.
Kids will get up close with native wildlife and take part in some hands-on nature activities. They'll discover the local habitat's wildlife live in, what they need to survive and how to spy them when adventuring in Logan's natural areas.
IMPORTANT IMFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTER:
- Designed for ages 5 years and over with an accompanying adult.
- Suitable for individuals and families.
- The adults session is recommended for people aged 13 years and over.
- Bookings required - all adults and children must have a ticket for this event. Please do not book children under an adult ticket.
INFORMATION FOR THE DAY OF THE EVENT:
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the event to check in.
- The kid's session will run concurrently to the adult's session - children aged 5 years and over will not be required to be directly supervised in order for accompanying adults to participate in the relevant session.
- Please bring a water bottle.
