These shocking statistics are accompanied by stunning images of threatened forests, and alternatives offered by industry professionals.

The Wilderness Society's 'The Last Wild River' (1978)
A documentary made by Paul Smith and Dr Bob Brown. The Last Wild River (1978) follows the adventuring party of 4 as they paddle down the wild Franklin River in rubber rafts. Showing the rivers aesthetic and recreational value the film served as an introduction to the Franklins conservation values, amid the Franklin/Gordon Dam dispute.
