Event description

Description

Old, dying and dead trees are all too often "cleaned up". But they are a vital part of ecosystems and we can do better at preserving and creating hollows within them.

Join Friends of Native Wildlife, Grant Harris and Dr Bronwyn Isaac to learn about old trees and the wildlife that can benefit from them. Grant is an arborist and ecologist who specialises in hollow creation for native wildlife, and Bronwyn is an expert on Powerful Owls in urban environments.

This free community event is the latest in our series of Wild In Bayside talks, held twice a year. It will also be the Annual General Meeting of Friends of Native Wildlife.
