Wicking beds are a self-irrigating method of growing, perfect for our long dry summers and for small spaces.

Robyn Brown from Waste is My Resource will show you how to set up a simple wicking bed from a foam box used for storing vegetables at a supermarket.

Wicking beds are perfect for growing lettuce or herbs and keeping close to your back door to pick as required.
