A local supplier has built some recycled wicking beds for your community space in Whitlam. The first use for these garden beds will be to hold colourful Spring bulbs. We are looking for helpers (no experience necessary) who would like to plant tulips.
You will also be able to take home some flowering joy for your own pot plant, garden or window sill. This simple activity is a chance for us to connect, meet new and soon to be neighbours and start to make your creative stamp on the communal areas of your new suburb.
Accessibility friendly event.
Over time these wicking beds can be used for edibles, annual flowers, whatever YOU choose.
We will have gardening gloves and all other supplies. If you have your own favourite pair of gardening gloves, please bring them along. Dogs on leads are welcome. Your best clothes are not recommended!
Please register everyone attending – this is a free activity but we want to ensure ample supplies for everyone!
