While the hour is an arts collective with a chronosophical bent.We hold events, workshops, exhibitions and other miscellaneous things in the service of increasing time literacy.

Artist Collective 'While the Hour' with the Council of SVOO present two days of workshops and events exploring ‘deep time’ at Testing Grounds as part of the National Sustainable Living Festival 2017.
What if time were multi-layered and prone to mutating? While The Hour invites you to consider the peculiarities of the present moment through a series of workshops and events over two days, to kick off their February residency at Testing Grounds. Take a constructive nap during a lecture at the mini-‘Restival’. Take part in creative writing experiments in the balmy evening air. Immerse yourself in ambient music and durational drawing exercises. Or, bet on a perpetual motion artwork.

What can I bring into the event?
Bring any writing or drawing materials to our writing and drawing workshops. Restful surfaces will be provided for the restival - no need to bring your own.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This is a liquor licensed venue. Alcohol must be purchased inside. 
Children are allowed, but must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.
