Do you need to build confidence in assessing Adult clients for seating and mobility product ranges? Looking at Case by Case evaluation and translating clinical findings into effective seating and wheelchair outcomes for their clients. Then this workshop will be for you.

This is an intermediate workshop addressing the seating and wheelchair mobility needs of the adult population. We will take the process from the beginning: including client assessment, postural mat evaluation and possible solutions for abnormal postures. We’ll then translate this information into product prescription.

The day will cover Case by Case adult client assessment with a focus on the fundamentals of what, why, when and how of seating:

- What are we trying to accomplish? - What information needs to be gathered during the seating assessment?

- How can products, features and options enhance clinical outcomes?

- How can we translate the assessment findings into appropriate product selections?

Featuring core seating and mobility products, we’ll also have the opportunity to check out the latest products

from the Jay seating and Quickie wheelchair range.

This session will assist you the therapist in confident decision making, build and provide confidence through practice when conducting adult evaluation at assessment time.

To help us carry out this workshop Amy Bjornson from Sunrise Medical will be our presenter for the day. Amy is a dynamic speaker who has lectured extensively on seating and mobility, wound management and the physical therapy treatment of spinal cord injured clients

So, if you have an interest or need more confidence in assessment for wheelchairs and seating systems, and want to learn more about how to successfully provide options to your clients, please feel free to attend the day.
