Description

Farming is ever changing - there are always opportunities, challenges and changes to be navigated.

If you have an established farm you might be interested in expanding or diversifying your production?

Are you approaching retirement and want to explore how to change your workload?

Have you returned to the family farm and need to reconnect with local contacts?

You might be an aspiring farmer and need assistance to establish your own agribusiness?

Regardless of where you're at right now, change is always just around the corner. TFS wants to help you be informed and prepared for what lies ahead.

We have bought together a group of passionate, knowledgable presenters to work with local farmers in an interesting and innovative half day workshop:

Sam Marwood - Cultivate Farms will share his story from growing up on a farm in Central Victoria to co founding what is described as the "Tinder of farming". Cultivate Farms connects retiring farmers and aspiring farmers with each other and investors.

Kim Lee - Rabobank will share her extensive experience in working with farming families to achieve personal, family and financial benefits for each generation.

Established local farmers will provide insights into their personal journeys through the various stages of their own farming enterprises.

Aspiring farmers will speak on their passion for establishing their own farms and the challenges they face trying to find their way into the industry.

We'll also have representatives from banking, finance and investment houses in attendance.

Join us at this unique event to learn from industry experts and the experiences of local farming families facing the same challenges you are.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Attendance is free for TFS members and their invited guests.

Non members are very welcome, with the proceeds from the sale of their tickets donated to the Country Education Foundation - Goulburn & District.
