Jim Zlotkowski, Arcoona, Bauhinia: Explore Jim's project site at Arcoona, where he has made his land more drought-tolerant, produced better pastures, made fencing changes for easier grazing management, and promoted biodiversity.

Myles Ballentine, Namgoori, Banana: Myles will explain Terrain Modelling with Jerome Leray from InFarm, which provided the data to plan and construct the on ground earthworks to optimize water use across his property. This program showed Myles just how much rainwater was leaving his property before the project, and now demonstrates the massive water retention post project.
Meredith & David Barrett, Mount Ox, Theodore: Glenn Landsberg will take you over the fence at Mount Ox, to discuss the landscape restoration work designed to maximise water infiltration as well as strategies to manage a steep slope, high velocity, water situation.

Glenn Landsberg: Glenn draws on a lifetime of working in the agricultural sector to help landholders with practical largescale landscape restoration. Sharing the good and bad experiences of other landholders as we tap into the enormous potential of healthy soils and efficiencies gained by recharging our soil moisture bank from rainfall. Particular focus is on surveying and designing erosion control methods with landholders as we strive for drought, flood and economic resilience.

Jess Bidgood, DCCA President: Jess’ background in teaching for 12 years has led her to a love of learning and driven her to find as much information as she can about running a profitable business whilst improving the ecology of the land they are custodians for. She is now using her passion is to assist others in creating their own vision and transform the Australian landscape for generations to come in her roles as an RCS teacher, coach and Northern advisory coordinator. Jess will explore the Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) results from our project. EOV is a scalable and affordable methodology that farmers can use to measure regenerative outcomes on their land. In addition to providing an outcome-based verification of the health of the land base, EOV also provides critical intelligence to the farmer as a steward and manager of the land.

Geoff Arnold, Moore Accounting: A passionate business adviser with extensive experience in Agribusiness, Geoff takes pride in helping business owners achieve financial success. Understanding the specific needs of small business owners, investors, and primary producers allows him to quickly identify their needs and provide tailored advice to achieve their goals. Geoff is passionate about the Dawson Catchment community, and has provided financial services for over 25 years, supporting clients and their families achieve financial success.
Bronwyn Schultz, RFCS: Bronwyn joined RFCS Southern Queensland in December 2018 and works out of the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) Office in Biloela. She assists a wide range of producers in her area including beef cattle, cotton, lucerne, cereal cropping, herbs and squab pigeons. Prior to this role Bronwyn’s background was in banking and financial services where she owned an insurance broking and financial planning practice for 15 years. Her client base was predominately clients from farming and rural enterprises, helping them to put in place financial and insurance structures to protect their businesses and families.
