What Is AI? Information Session - Hub Library

Join us to learn about the basics of AI.

About the session:

You might be excited by AI, scared by AI, or both. Join us for a free information session by Michael Howell. This interactive session will explore:

• What is AI? What are the different types?
• What is a large language model? Do they work like a web search?
• Some of the different tools available
• What they can do and what they can't do
• Managing privacy and bias
• Some basic tips to get better results.

We will use some live examples of these tools in action to bring the concepts to life, helping you navigate the new world of AI.

About the presenter:
Michael Howell is a local resident and an AI enthusiast. While Michael is the co-author of a training course on AI governance and Risk Management for the corporate sector, he has a passion for making the topic of AI relatable to everyone.
