This group is specifically tailored for both first-time parents and those seeking a refreshing approach to parenthood.

New Parent & Birth Stories – Delve into the world of new parenthood, share your birth stories, practice mindfulness, and learn about your bub’s needs while fostering a strong bond.

Self-Care & Recovery – Prioritise your well-being by discussing sleep, nutrition, exercise, postpartum recovery, and strategies for getting out of the house with your little one.

Teamwork & Challenges – Navigate the challenges of parenthood together by exploring roles, identity, success, setting realistic expectations, handling unhelpful advice, and reflecting on how you were parented.

Balancing Life & Parenthood – Discover ways to maintain balance by carving out time for yourself, nurturing your relationship as a couple, staying connected with your social network, enhancing communication, and establishing flexible routines.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR – EMMA

Emma was an Occupational Therapist and is a Midwife with a Masters in Women’s Health. She has also developed a preparation for parenthood course for the service. Her passion is women’s mental health especially around the perinatal period. In her spare time she enjoys music, reading and hanging out with her kids.

How to find us

Our office is located inside the Gosnells Community Lotteries House at 2232c Albany Highway Gosnells. We are in Suite 7 located on level 1. You will need to use the internal stairs or lift (the lift is located behind the stairs). Once of level 1, we are left down the corridor near the toilets.

Where do i park or is there public transport close by?

Parking is located near the post office off Astley Street. Parking can be problematic during the week – additional parking on Federation Pde. We are a 5 minute walk from the Gosnells Train Station and close to multiple bus stops.

After Hours/ Saturday Access:

You will need to use the intercom to gain access into the building. The intercom located on the right-hand side of the glass sliding doors. Please look for the laminated sign next to the intercom on how to gain access into the building. If you need help call the office on 9490 2258.
