About this event

This Introductory session is especially designed for new and expecting dads to learn and share helpful tips and information to help you in the the beginning of your fatherhood journey. We aim to enable you to be the best father and partner you can be through this incredible chapter of life… the transition to fatherhood.

Your host for this session is Tom Fagernes, a national leader in the space of fatherhood programs. Tom has delivered these sessions to over 3000 participants across Australia.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect with Tom ‘live’ and begin your fatherhood journey with a solid foundation of wisdom and insights.

Places are limited so register early.

Who can register? This is a session that fathers and mothers can come to. NB: There may be a section of the sharing where participants are split into mothers and fathers groups.

Man With A Pram is an annual community event that brings together parents, families and communities on Father's Day. Embarking on a mile-long walk, our shared goal is to celebrate and show appreciation for dads, build communities of support, and raise awareness and funds for perinatal isolation.

We are focusing on Perinatal Mental Health for fathers and families. We aim to bring forward state and national public dialogue through this event. Join us and be a leader of positive family culture, build your community, and raise awareness and funds for a great cause.

Man with a pram is our annual fundraiser for the Dadsgroup Hospital, Digital and Community Programs. Dadsgroup helps families transition into parenthood by running these programs to connect new fathers and families, supporting them in the perinatal years, and preventing depression, isolation, suicide and family violence. Dadsgroup partners with research organisations, hospitals and councils across the country who share in our vision of supporting the mental health of new fathers and families in the perinatal period.

Our aim is that Man With A Pram will be a platform this year and in the future to change the culture of fatherhood. We hope to enact changes both in the community as well as in the health and social service system.
