An introduction to cruise, highlighting the benefits for Fremantle and Western Australia.
Join Tourism Western Australia in partnership with the City of Fremantle for an industry workshop, Welcome to Cruise. This event will coincide with the scheduled visit by Seabourn Sojourn (458 pax), to Fremantle the following day.
Led by industry expert Jason Gelineau, with support from Jay McKenzie, CEO/Owner of Bob Wood Cruise Group, the session will cover:
- Understanding and meeting cruise line and passenger expectations;
- How cruise lines operate shore excursion programs; and
- Maximising business and community benefits from cruise tourism.
Cruise lines consider unique landside visits an integral element of the overall cruise experience, and this event will provide insights into successfully servicing the cruise market.
