We want our High Tea to be a warm and intimate gathering, creating a space for genuine connection and shared experiences. By keeping the event small, with a maximum of 40 guests, we hope to foster a comfortable environment where attendees feel safe to engage, reflect and support one another.

It’s for anyone impacted by eating disorders—whether personally, as a support person, or anyone  wanting to learn more and support our event!  There is a seat at the table for everyone!

What can I expect on the day?

A relaxed and welcoming environment with guest speakers, open discussions, and the opportunity to connect with others over tea. There’s no pressure to participate—just come as you are.

FOOD & COMFORT: Will there be food?

Yes, there will be a beautifully curated high tea, but there’s absolutely no pressure to eat. You are welcome to enjoy tea, water, or whatever feels comfortable for you on the day.

We want you to feel safe and supported. There will be quiet spaces available if you need a break, and you are welcome to step outside at any time.

Topics may include recovery journeys, navigating the healthcare system, understanding public vs. private treatment options, the impact of diet culture, and strategies for long-term healing.

What is the “Support another Seat” ticket?

This allows anyone to donate any amount toward covering tickets for others who may be facing financial barriers. It’s a way to make the event more accessible and inclusive.

Can I attend even if I can’t afford a ticket?

Yes! We want this event to be accessible to everyone. If cost is a barrier, please reach out, and we will do our best to assist through Pay It Forward/Support another Seat contributions.

Absolutely. This event is for those in recovery, as well as friends, family, and supporters.
