Protection of Intellectual Property rights in offshore markets can be a challenge for Australian businesses and China is no exception.

Following improvements in the ability to register and protect IP in China, there are now several ways that companies can effectively protect their IP in-market.

This webinar will provide practical guidance on IP issues in the China market with regards to patents, trademarks, designs and copyright; and the support available from IP Australia, Austrade and the Entrepreneurs’ Programme.

Louise is National Manager Business International Advisory Services, Ai Group. Louise manages a number of trade-related projects including trade missions, business matching and the development of export-related training.

David Bennett

Beijing based David is IP Australia’s first intellectual property Counsellor to China. David supports Australian businesses to navigate the Chinese IP systems. David provides guidance to Australian businesses on IP registration, enforcement procedures and the court system and engages with the Chinese Government to address common issues and concerns around IP policy.
