She helps high-functioning women restore inner strength and amplify outer impact - redefining their power, reclaiming their calm, and realigning with themselves. Marie will be talking into the topic… Breaking the Strong Woman Myth The “strong woman” is often praised as endlessly capable, resilient, and unshakable. But strength without softness can come at a cost - leaving many women quietly carrying exhaustion, self-doubt, and the weight of perfectionism. Marie’s talk opens up a brave conversation about letting go of the myth, moving from self-sacrifice to self-acceptance, and embracing a more authentic, sustainable version of strength. She will share how adopting new approaches - enhancing compassion and psychological flexibility, listening to the body before it sounds the alarm, and shifting from stigma to strength in women’s mental health - can help women thrive through life’s pressures. Introducing Amy Livingstone 💋 One year ago, Amy co-founded her business, Manava Wellness and Retreats, a natural health practice specialising in holistic therapies for injury rehabilitation, nervous system care and women’s health. She is now opening her practice in Melbourne Bayside and Macedon Ranges. As a practitioner, Amy is most passionate about supporting women through life’s key transitions of matrescense and menopause with proven therapeutic modalities. She hosts regular events and retreats designed to support busy women to create space during the hustle to pause, breathe and rest for better nervous system health and mental wellbeing. Amy is also the co-ordinator of We Rise Networking in the Macedon Ranges and loves co-creating with the monthly container of support, connection and inspiration where we can share and celebrate success as women. Amy shares her personal journey with Lymes Disease, chronic pain and mental health. She also extends her insights towards the experience of navigating mental health within her family which resulted in suicides, addictions, and abuse. At We Rise Liptember, she will also share her wisdom as a HeartMath Trainer and Coach to empower you with simple techniques that she has found to be personally lifechanging.
