Do you enjoy the coastal walk from Bondi to Bronte, marvelling at the monuments in Waverley Cemetery and wonder who is buried there? Why not book a walking tour, led by Friends of Waverley Cemetery Volunteers?
Waverley Cemetery is the resting place of many famous an infamous people including test cricketers, politicians, murder victims, authors, poets and criminals!
The Friends group offers 4 different general history tours, so you are able to enjoy repeat visits to the cemetery.
Date and Time: Tours are held on Saturdays generally commencing at 9.00am and take up to 90 minutes. Weekday tours can also be organised. Contact email: friendsofwaverleycemetery@gmail.com
Location: Attendees are to meet at the Cemetery Office Entry Porch, via Trafalgar Street, Bronte.
Cost: $24.18 per person.
*Monies raised by the Friends of Waverley Cemetery Volunteer Tour Guides is used for memorial restoration work.

Additional Information:
- Attendees should wear comfortable walking shoes, carry water and slip, slop, slap.
- Refunds are not available however rescheduling can be arranged.
- Due to the location of the Cemetery and the walking involved, this tour is not suitable for those with mobility issues or young children.
- Given the graphic nature of the events surrounding the death of some individuals buried in the cemetery it should be understood that the narrative delivered during the tour may be distressing to the young and for that reason we do not recommend the tour for Primary School aged children.
