Workshop Details

This is an immersive workshop designed to build and strengthen your technical skills while allowing space for artistic individuality. Through structured demonstrations and guided exercises, you will:

🎨 explore the essential elements of watercolour: washes, edges, flow control, transparency and colour mixing and combinations.

🌿 learn how to build expressive backgrounds and integrate crisp, meaningful foreground subjects.

🌈 create artwork that feels both loose and intentional.

🌾 paint and play in guided lead-up activities where you learn in a supportive learning environment.

🌈 apply what you have learnt in a creative project on the second day that balances loose, expressive backgrounds with considered foreground details.

Watercolour Foundations: from Washes to Expression is a hands-on workshop perfect for those starting out and for the more experienced who want to deepen confidence and creative voice. This is your chance to grow your skills, find your flow, and develop your unique artistic voice.
