Join Waste Wise Schools to learn from other teachers how they manage waste at their school.

About this event

Hear from primary and secondary Waste Wise schools in regional WA about successful waste management practices they have implemented at their school. They will share ideas and experiences about how they have created a successful program including set up, maintenance, engaging students and other areas of the school.

Organiser Waste Wise Schools

Organiser of Waste Wise Schools regional TeachMeet

Waste Wise Schools is a program of the Waste Authority and offers resources and support for schools to plan, implement and maintain waste minimising projects such as recycling, composting and worm farming.

The program helps schools to set up infrastructure and provides resources aimed at changing attitudes and behaviour in regard to sustainable waste management.

The program is FREE and available to all schools in Western Australia.
