Location: 6 Mill Rd, Kurrajong NSW 2758

Description: Hey Wallabies, join us on council land in Kurrajong to remove pesky weeds, with likeminded people, have a yarn and get your hands dirty!

All are welcome!

Together, we can make a difference and work towards enhancing ecosystems to improve habitat for wildlife and reduce the weed population on site. If you have never tried volunteering for bushcare before, this is your opportunity to check it out to see if it is something you'd like to do more frequently or you can support on the day as a one off!

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Bring your own water! This is important when working outdoors to have access to fresh dirnking water.
  • Please wear enclosed shoes (mandatory).
  • Long sleeved shirt and pants (controllign certain weeds can scratch your skin, it is best to wear long sleeve).
  • Hat and sunscreen! (It is necessary to wear a hat when working outdoors to avoid the risk of heat stroke and sun cancer).
  • Rainjacket/coat and gumboots (if wet weather).
  • Tools and gloves will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own gloves and tools if you prefer!

Any questions, please contact the organiser (Monique - Local Landcare Coordinator) on 0410 616 139.
