Walks on Country at Truganina Explosives Reserve, Altona
Join for a Walk on Country with Bunurong-Tyereelore-Trawoolway man Rob Ogden as part of Dear Agnes contemporary public art program.
Join proud Bunurong, Tyereelore, Trawoolway man, Rob Ogden, alongside Hobsons Bay City Council Conservation Rangers, Andrew and Suzette, for a tour of the Truganina Explosives Reserve. You will learn about the plants and animals of the area, hear cultural stories , and learn more about the industrial history of the reserve.
Prepare for the weather conditions, i.e., hat, sunscreen, jacket, and water bottle. Wearing comfortable closed footwear is recommended. Children must be supervised at all times during tours.
Presented as part of Dear Agnes contemporary public art program presented by Hobsons Bay City Council in partnership with RMIT University, Deakin University and Greater Western Water.
