Join MAGNT Curator Emeritus of Molluscs, Dr Richard Willan, on a guided walk through the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory’s garden spaces and learn about the different habitats and environments encountered along the way and their significance for wildlife. Be introduced to some historically significant native trees, including some that are over 100 years old and discover the ecological connections between these outside spaces and the exhibition spaces within MAGNT.

Key Information

Please register at the Information Desk in the Foyer from 10:45am.

Guided walk departs from outside the main entry of MAGNT Darwin at 11:00am.

This guided walk takes approximately 90 minutes with multiple stops along the way.

Covered footwear required and please bring your own sunscreen, hat and water.

Participants will be walking on grassed and sealed surfaces.

Accessible route for wheelchair users available.

This program is taking place in a natural environment, which has inherent risks.
