An informal, knowledge-sharing event where we can ask questions, share observations and learn directly from Clancy and local bird experts.

Join us for a relaxed Walk and Talk at Currawong Park with Clancy Lester – The Bee Man, alongside members of Tamworth Bird Watchers Inc.

This guided walk will take participants around the pond and shrub zones at Currawong Park, stopping to observe native vegetation and habitat areas supporting insects, birds and frogs.

The walk will focus on:

  • Native plants and their role in supporting wildlife
  • Threatened and local bird species
  • Native bees and other pollinators
  • Learn how the Currawong Park Landcare volunteers are enhancing local biodiversity
  • Take home resources

This is an informal, interactive knowledge-sharing event where participants can ask questions, share observations and learn directly from Clancy and local bird experts while exploring the park together.

The walk is suitable for all fitness levels and anyone interested in learning more about local biodiversity and how urban green spaces support wildlife.

Lunch will be provided, please bring along your hat, waterbottles and chair!
