writingWA will be hosting a two-day sector forum at the City of Perth Library on Mon 31 July and Tues 1 Aug.

The Forum will provide an opportunity for discussion and the exchange of information regarding current industry practice, issues and opportunities. Curated sessions will address copyright and 'Fair Use', author rates and payments, the supply chain from publisher to bookshop, the changing role of public libraries, self-publishing practice and opportunities, and cultural diversity and inclusivity in the writing sector. A series of "Quick Catch-ups" over the two days will also allow sector organisations to provide updates on their programs and activities.

TICKETS - Must be purchased separately for each day of the Forum.

Ticket prices are inclusive of morning and afternoon tea, booking fee and GST.

NB - Presenters are entitled to free admission for the full day on which their presentation takes place but are required to purchase tickets if they wish to attend the additional day.
