Want to participate in something fun and interesting before exams start? Want to learn how to program your own VR application?

Welcome to the MCIC VR hack, run in partnership with the UNSW Faculty of Engineering, UNSW Immersive Technologies, and powered by our very own Founders in Residence, V-Kaiwa.

What we want to solve:

"How might we use VR Technology to improve health and well-being?"

We want a new and creative approach of how we can use VR to improve the health and well-being of people. The topic is left broad to allow participants to

Dates: Weekend after Week 13.

Friday 1st June 2018 – Sunday 3rd May 2018

Schedule:

Friday 1:00pm start: Keynote Speakers, Problem statement, Team formation, VR Experience and Programming workshop

Saturday 9:30am start: Working on ideas, Mentors session,

Sunday 9:30am start: Working for ideas, Mentor session, Pitch Training, Pitches and Judging.

Prizes:
$3000 Grand Prize, $1000 2nd Prize. Chance to become a Student Led Project under the Engineering Faculty!
