The Volunteering Connections Event is a FREE event for Latrobe City community groups to promote their volunteering opportunities in National Volunteer Week (20-26 May 2024). The event will provide an opportunity for community groups to connect with community members who are eager to learn about a variety of volunteering opportunities and who are wanting to make a difference in their community.
The event will run in conjunction with the Traralgon Farmers Market, creating a buzz of people, music and food.

Time: 9 am – 1 pm
Location: Forecourt area of Traralgon Library and Gippsland Performing Arts Centre, 34 – 38 Kay Street, Traralgon
Expression of Interest (EOI) Process
Volunteer groups, clubs and organinisations in Latrobe are encouraged to submit an EOI to have a stall at the event. Registrations open on 1 April 2024 and close on 30 April 2024.
Please note stallholder places are limited and EOI's will be prioritised to provide an even distribution of volunteer stallholders across the municipality.
Stallholders are strongly encouraged to think about how your stall can be bright and interactive. This can assist to draw people and families over to chat to you about what you do and how they can get involved.
Applicants will be contacted in early May 2024 to advise of your successful/non successful application.
Public Liability Insurance
All stallholders are required to have current public liability insurance on the day of the event. If you need to purchase insurance, you may consider buying a once-off 'Community Liability Pack Section B' through Latrobe City Council. Please contact us for more information and to check your eligibility.
Cancellations
If things change after you have completed your EOI and you can no longer attend, please email us asap.
