Volunteer Tutor Scheme Training - Berwick

Volunteer Tutor Training prepares you to support a student for one hour per week to learn English.

Topics will include:

• Teaching strategies and techniques
• Lesson planning
• Working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds

As well as other relevant information. You will complete 8 hours of training online prior to attending a day of face to face training.

The training is fun, interactive and informative, with experienced an EAL teacher to guide you.

Please ensure you attend an Information Session prior to commencing this training, as this will allow us to arrange access for your online training component. You can book through Eventbrite for this as well.

The Berwick Saturday training will be held from 9am - 4:30pm on Saturday 2/3/19
