VISUALISATION FOR PERFORMANCE

VISUALISATION FOR PERFORMANCE

Sunshine Coast Golf CentreWarana, QLD
Thursday, Mar 12 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm AEST
Overview

Think it. See it. Execute it.

Visualisation isn’t “positive thinking.”

It’s a trainable performance skill used by elite athletes, world-class performers, and high-level professionals to consistently execute under pressure.

This workshop will teach you how to visualise properly—not just outcomes, but the process that gets you there.

What You’ll Learn:

This session breaks visualisation into two powerful, practical methods:

1. Process Visualisation

This is where real performance gains are made.

You’ll learn how to mentally rehearse:

• The exact steps of execution

• Decision-making under pressure

• Body position, breath, timing, and emotional control

Process visualisation programs your nervous system to recognise the task as familiar, reducing hesitation and improving consistency.

This method is widely used by elite performers and is a cornerstone of modern mental performance coaching, including techniques taught by Jamie Milne Mental Performance Coach who works with high-performing athletes to build clarity, confidence, and calm under pressure.

2. Outcome Visualisation

Outcome visualisation sets the direction.

You’ll learn how to:

• Create emotionally compelling future images

• Align identity with results

• Use imagery to reinforce belief, motivation, and commitment

When used correctly, outcome visualisation acts as a compass, while process visualisation becomes the engine.

Why Visualisation Works:

Elite performers have been using this for decades:

• Tiger woods used visualisation to mentally play courses before tournaments.

• Michael Jordan mentally rehearsed shots thousands of times before taking them.

• Michael Phelps visualised every stroke, turn, and finish—including things going wrong.

• Mike Tyson visualised dominance and precision before ever stepping into the ring.

• Greg Norman used visualisation to mentally play courses before tournaments.

A famous study at the University of Chicago showed that athletes who only visualised improving their basketball shots achieved similar performance gains to those who physically practised—highlighting the brain’s powerful role in skill acquisition.

As Dr Joe Dispenza puts it:

“A thought, an image that we have in our mind repeatedly, will look for expression through any practical means.”

Who This Is For

• Athletes (individual or team sports)

• Business owners & professionals

• Executives & leaders

• Anyone who wants to perform better under pressure and live with more intention

What You’ll Walk Away With

• A clear understanding of how to visualise properly

• Tools you can apply immediately in sport, work, and life

• A repeatable mental performance skill you can train daily

This is practical, grounded, and performance-focused—not motivational fluff.

If you can see it clearly, you can execute it calmly.
