Event description
Come and explore our Unique Virtual Museum of Human Disease. Visit today and get access for the Whole of July*. Watch the experience evolve.

About this Event

Come and see over 2000 specimens and objects detailing disease in the human body. For July choose how much you want to pay and get access until the end of the month.

"I’ve barely made a dent in seeing all there is to see! Love ding able to wander through at my own pace! Thank you!" Jane, 2020

This is Australia's only publicly accessible Medical Pathology Collection. Part of the UNSW Faculty of Medicine it houses over 2000 specimens of diseased human tissue. One positive from the current lockdown is that we have been able to create an entirley new virtual reality experience of the Museum. Still under development it already has virtual exhibitions about Obesity, Cancer, COVID and Smoking with so much more to add in the coming weeks.

"It is extremely interesting ( and a bit scary! Ha )" Louise, 2020

You can access the Museum through all major web browsers and on all devices. It even works as a Virtual Reality experience using your phone and a "VR" holder.

Although we have worked hard to make this available it is a work in progress which is why if you buy a ticket today you will get access for the next month* (usually 24hrs) so you can watch as it builds and grows.

We know visiting the real Museum inspires people to take better care of themselves so in this time of isolation and social distancing get a bit of #healthspiration.

Your donation goes toward the development of enriched public education activities in the Museum and medical research in the wider University.

As this is a new way of visiting the Museum, we are working to add more detail to the experience every day. Come back as often as you like, visit with family or others in your house. Watch the Virtual Museum evolve and contribute to our research.
