Vinyasa in Vanuatu is a perfectly curated week in tropcal paradise that blends Yogic discovery, outdoor adventure, nourishing food and aligned community. Escape winter and immerse yourself in the all the South Pacific has to offer - nature, culture and the chance to drop your responsibilites and enjoy being fully taken care of on 'island time'! Recover your sense of peace, grounding, happiness, joy and revitalise your mental and physical health so you can face the rest of winter glowing with a sense of authenticity, resilience and ease.

Rememeber, reset and reconnect to get your vibe back at Vinyasa in Vanuatu!Over 7 days nestled in nature between the rainforest and the crystal clear coral reef your system will be nurtured and supported to relax, unwind and ground.Delight in not having to think about what to cook and enjoy being treated to the freshest locally sourced produce, freshly prepared by on-site chefs into three healthy and delicious vegetarian meals a day!Every day you'll have plenty of time and space to to reconnect with the very best parts of yourself through rest, trauma-sensitive nervous system healing yoga, guided meditation and peaceful immersion in nature.There are also opportunitites to support the retreat staff and their communities by visiting the local school and contributing much-needed education supplies.

<h2>Optional - Become a Certified Polyvagal and Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher </h2> All retreat attendees are welcome to participate in daily workshops to learn how Yoga inetracts with the body's master nervous system regualor, the vagus nerve. Understand the links between Trauma and the Nervous System. Whether you're looking to develop deeper self awareness, learn ways to better regulate your emotional responses or as Yoga Teacher wanti to understand how yoga practices can both trigger AND heal trauma these workshops will provide you with a foundation of the neurobiology behind these somatic practices.In a radpidly changing world, it's imperative to be informed about trauma can present in individuals and be prepared with skills and tools to cultivate safe and inclusve healing spaces. Attendance at all workshops makes up the Module 1 of the 100 hour Polyvagal and Trauma Informed Teacher Training. This training will provide certified Yoga Teachers 25 hours of Continuing Professional Development with Yoga Alliance and Yoga Australia.This training is designed to give you an introduction to and basic overview of:• The neurobiology of trauma• The Polyvagal Theory of the nervous system • Attachment and co-regulation in the context of Yoga • Safety, body wisdom, autonomy and intuition in the context of trauma • Developing a trauma-aware lens in your teaching and practice• Creating client-led classes – unlearning the ‘do as I say’ model of teaching, and cultivating self empowerment for your students • Mindfulness and meditation contraindications for trauma • Language, cues, use of human contact in the context of trauma Certified Yoga Teachers who complete the full 25 hours of curriculum will receive a Certificate of Completion that can be used towards continuing professional development hours with both Yoga Alliance and Yoga Australia.There is no additional cost to participate in these workshops. Even if you're not a Yoga Teacher you can drop into those that pique your interest.If you choose to retreat only you'll have plenty of extra hours a day to blissfully relax by the pool, hang out in a hammock by the sea, wander the trails or enjoy the beach!

<h2>Itinerary</h2>Our itinerary will be flexible and flow according to local weather and other conditions.Shuttles from the Airport to the Retreat can be organised, as can addtional nights accommodation pre-and post- retreat if you'd like to extend your stay.Example day:7.00am – Group meditation and morning practice8.30am – Delicious tropical breakfast!10.00am-12.30pm – Morning Teacher Training Block12.30pm – Lovely tropical lunch!2.30pm-5.00pm – Afternoon local activity: e.g. boat trip, snorkel, kayak, visit community school, hike5.00pm-6.30pm – Afternoon Restorative Practice and Yoga Nidra6.30pm – Delectable tropical dinner!

<h2>Accommodation options</h2>Our home for the week is a stunning seaside Retreat nestled between the volcanic hills and coral reefs in quiet and secluded Havannah Bay, Efete.There are two spacious, comfortable accommodation options open to you.Enjoy an air conditioned room to yourself or pair up with a buddy to share a twin room and save.All rooms are comfortably appointed and have their own bathrooms.<h3>Private room:</h3>Deluxe Cabin Solo - $4200<h3>Share a room:</h3>Deluxe Cabin Twin- $3300
