You are invited to a very special Creative Portrait Studio session

This Creative Fine Art Portrait workshop is run by award-winning Digital Artist and Photographer Julie Powell. We will be joined on the day by the wonderful Jesi Faun and Nicola Paige, in fabulous Vintage Glamourne outfits. Capture a sense of magic and romance in a small, intimate and unique setting, inspired by vintage looks at the incredible old Flack Post and Telegraph building in Ballan, VIC.

While this workshop is aimed at Beginners through to intermediates, advanced photographers are more than welcome. This will be a small intimate workshop, two models, two rooms, 4 photographers in each session, that will switch. So in essence 2 mini workshops in one.

Working in mostly natural lighting, staging, camera settings and best practices for creative Creative Portraits with topics discussed:

• Posing and working with models
• Natural and artificial lighting for mood and effect
• Staging and techniques
• Quick and easy props and staging

Requirements:

• A DSLR camera or Mirrorless camera. Also, bringing your manual is a good idea if you aren't overly familiar with your camera.
• a 35 or 50mm Prime lens or 24-70mm is suitable (18-55mm, or 16-85mm etc)
• spare battery & SD Cards.

This is a three-hour workshop, located in Ballan and is limited to 8 people (in total).
