The Victorian Trauma Grand Round is a collaborative initiative which provides a forum for healthcare professionals involved in trauma care, in Victoria to explore and debate all aspects of trauma management. The program will promote collaborative efforts and networking among members of the trauma community, and showcase trauma care in Victoria. This event will be presented by The Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne.
Keeping kids safe in the country
In this Victorian Trauma Grand Round, we will present why children in the country are at higher risk of certain injury patterns. In particular we will present cases that focus on the mechanism of injuries predominantly seen in rural presentations, whilst also highlighting injury prevention strategies directly aimed at this patient cohort.
