The aim of the Victorian Opioid Pharmacotherapy Training is to provide pharmacists and pharmacy support staff with the relevant knowledge, skills and tools required to deliver a safe and consumer focused opioid replacement therapy service in their pharmacy.

This is a Victorian State Government funded program and is FREE to all pharmacists in Victoria.

ORT Part 1 training

This education covers the basics of harm minimisation and opioid replacement programs including all technical, professional and legal requirements. It is delivered as both an online self-directed course and face-to-face sessions.

The online course is composed of four modules. You are given the option of either completing the full course with the post-assessment quiz and receiving CPD credits or a refresher training which allows you to undertake a pre-assessment quiz to determine if there are any gaps in your knowledge. If gaps are identified, you will be given the opportunity to complete the specific module/s that correlate to those gaps.

To enrol into the online Part 1 course click here

The interactive live webinars are delivered by subject experts and include anonymous polling questions which increase the interactivity of the session and allow pharmacists to consider how they may react in the given scenarios. The webinars also provide the participants with the opportunity to ask the facilitator questions at any point during the session.
