Event Details

Animal Emergency Service and Veterinary Specialist Services are thrilled to invite you to our first seminar series for 2018:

Trauma Patient - Stabilisation and management

Treating an acute trauma patient is always a nerve racking experience, multiple body systems can be affected requiring aggressive intervention in order to stabilise the patients condition.

The question is what do we do first!

  • What fluids should you give and how much?
  • What pain relief is best and why?
  • What tests to do any why?

In this seminar we will focus on the global assessment of the trauma patient, stabilisation of shock and other life threatening conditions including head, thoracic and abdominal trauma. We will also host an open floor discussion for you to ask questions or voice any concerns that you may have.

All veterinarians are welcome, and we encourage you to share this invitation with your colleagues.

Seating is strictly limited for this free event so register your attendance now.
