Description

The VCOSS State Election Platform will set out the community sector's priorities and vision for the next term of the Victorian Parliament and provide a plan for all sides of politics to address the key social policy challenges facing our state. It will also inform VCOSS' advocacy work over the next 4-5 years.

Past VCOSS State Election Platforms are available on our website.

We invite you or a representative of your organisation to a series of consultation forums to share your views with other VCOSS members, and to help inform the VCOSS State Election Platform.

This consultation will focus on Healthy, cohesive and resilient people and communities. It will cover areas including:

  • Reducing health inequity
  • Building a coordinated and responsive primary and community health, mental health and alcohol and drug treatment system
  • Fostering strong rural and regional communities
  • Promoting vibrant and diverse local communities
  • Responding to and recovering from emergencies
  • Supporting volunteers

Further consultation forums include:
