Description

This first in a series of four panel sessions is an in depth discussion of the aims pf public schooling. Distinguished historian Paul Axelrod sets the context by recalling the origins of public schooling in Canada.

The panel includes:

Annie Kidder, Executive Director of the advocacy organization, People for Education;

Charles Pascal, Professor, former Deputy Minister of Education, and author of a major study on early learning

Jonathan Kakegamic, Principal of First Nations Junior and Senior School of Toronto,
