These workshops are run throughout each teaching session and are primarily for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students.Recordings of all Online Library Workshopsare available on the Library website. For help accessing recordingsplease contact the Library.Academic staff and research students canrequest an individualised induction, consultation or trainingsession with a Faculty librarian.These workshops are presented in a webinar format via Zoom.

[Note: If you are new to Library databases it is recommended you attend the <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/finding-online-journal-articles-registration-61673996584">Finding Online Journal Articles</a> workshop prior to attending this workshop.]Library databases can be very useful but rather daunting, so join us to explore some of the search techniques and features that you can use, based on two of the Library’s main database platforms: EBSCOhost and Informit. We’ll be discussing and/or demonstrating:<ul><li>the benefits of using Library databases </li><li>the principles of online searching</li><li>Boolean operators and search techniques</li><li>creating folders and setting up alerts</li><li>exporting citations to EndNote.</li></ul>Duration: 1 hour.
