Course Description

This workshop includes looking at the processes for professionally including drawings in collage on canvas. We will be working on two gessoed canvases, one smaller (about 10 by 12 inches or 11 by 14 inches or thereabouts) and one at least 24 x 30 inches. On the first day we will briefly cover basic design principles; look at preparation of drawings for collage; and collage and texture the canvas surfaces. On the second day we will complete the works with paint and/or dry drawing media. Bring along any drawings you’d like to use.

"Using Drawings in Mixed Media with Tricia Reust" is a two day weekend workshop, running on Saturday and Sunday 9:30am to 4:30pm each day.

Materials are not included in this workshop. A material list will be available shortly.
