Overview

Participants will develop knowledge and skills to recognise potentially unwell or deteriorating patients in primary health care settings.

Outline: Urgent care identification training is crucial for a variety of staff working within the primary healthcare sector as it supports them to enable suitably qualified individuals to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, such as cardiac arrest, severe allergic reactions, traumatic injuries and respiratory distress, which can be life-saving and reduce the risk of complications.

This workshop is tailored to non-clinical professionals and administration staff working in general practice and other primary healthcare services. The aim is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to recognise potentially unwell or deteriorating patients that may present at a service.
