Urban agriculture
Overview
Having completed his PhD in urban agriculture, Dr Matt now works as an early career researcher investigating novel crops for Australia, such as agave, as well as innovative fertilisers like insect frass.
During this presentation, Matt will deliver a comprehensive yet practical talk about soil, tailored for home gardeners. He will explain the basic concepts of soil science in plain language and demonstrate how these can be adapted at home using sustainable, locally sourced materials. This session is perfect for anyone keen to understand their soil better and improve their gardening skills through practical knowledge and expertise.
Join us at One Planet Market to learn more about Matt's fascinating research and how to use this knowledge in your home garden.
