Wed. 22 February 2017, 10:00 am – 11:30 am AEDT
The UNSW Grand Challenges program aims to generate debate, promote informed discussion and develop policy to tackle the greatest challenges facing humanity. We are searching for passionate students to join us searching for solutions to the Grand Challenge on Climate Change, Refugees & Migrants and Inequality as they relate to the UNSW community.
This event will launch the UNSW Grand Challenges: design for a better world program. Come and find out how you can be involved and hear from Professor Rob Brooks, Academic Lead of the Grand Challenges.
Bring a friend and join us for a taste of the program with design thinking activities and morning tea.
Design for a better world program is a semester long program which will see you working with other students across faculties, and with experts in the field, to develop innovative solutions to some of the Grand Challenges of our time.
Whatever your ideas are, we are interested in hearing about them, so share them with the UNSW community using #unswGC.
