UNSW GIE Club Biomedical Engineering workshop

Register NOW to secure your place in one of our two biomedical engineering workshops. These are in-person workshops being held at the UNSW Kensington campus.
In each FREE 1-hour 45-minute workshop, you will learn about the field of biomedical engineering with the challenge of designing and constructing a prosthetic limb. You will have the opportunity to test your prosthetic limb in a series of challenges, whilst learning what it's like to study biomedical engineering at UNSW from current engineering students.
There will be two biomedical engineering workshops on the day:
- Year 7-9 morning workshop: Wednesday 4 October, 11am -12:45pm
- Year 10-12 afternoon workshop: Wednesday 4 October, 3pm - 4:45pm
Location: UNSW Sydney Kensington Campus
Places for each workshop are limited to 25. Please only select one ticket for one of the workshops (either the morning or afternoon workshop for your age group). Once the workshops are full, you can be added to a waitlist* and notified if a place becomes available.
For these workshops, you will be required to return a permission form signed by a parent or guardian, which will be emailed to you in advance of the workshop along with details on how to find the venue. Please note that your place in the workshop is not confirmed until the permission form is returned.
