UNSW Founders in collaboration with the Poverty & Inequality Partnership invite you to attend the 2024 Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Challenge.
The SDG Challenge is a fast-paced challenge day where you will get an opportunity to solve real-world sustainable problems in a fun, exciting and collaborative way. You will be teamed with other students from diverse faculty backgrounds to tackle these real-world problems over the day, and then present your idea on stage in the same evening for a chance to take home some prize money. (see below for prize money)
WHO CAN JOIN?
This event is for currently enrolled UNSW students only. All undergraduates, postgraduates and HDRs welcome!
THIS IS AN IN PERSON EVENT!
Tuesday 21th May. Arriving for a 8:45am breakfast, for a 9am start to the day. The event will run at the Michael Crouch Innovation Centre, UNSW Kensington.
GREAT PRIZES!
Each challenge has a $2000 first prize + a $1000 second prize. Additionally, there will be a $500 people's choice prize voted by the audience.
FULLY CATERED!
Breakfast, lunch, dinner plus snacks will be provided throughout the day!
Vegan and gluten-free options will be provided. If you have any particular requirements or allergies please let us know and consider bringing your own food as we are unable to make any guarantees from the caterers we use.
