Overview

Entry is free — just grab a ticket via the link so we can plan numbers. ️First 50 people to secure a ticket receive a FREE Print

This exhibition brings together a diverse body of work that does not sit within a single fixed theme, but instead reflects a layered mix of power, identity, resistance, and everyday experience. Drawing from pop culture, comics, film, music, and contemporary life, the works examine the many roles we are asked to play by governments, society, gender norms, and ourselves.

Fictional heroes, cultural icons, and anonymous figures appear side by side, navigating expectation, exhaustion, joy, and defiance. Authority is shown as both armored and fragile, while strength emerges not only through force, but through laughter, rest, and self-determination. From militarised symbols of control to moments of quiet rebellion, each piece questions where protection ends and pressure begins.

Rather than offering a single narrative, this collection embraces contradiction and individuality. Together, the works challenge the idea of a universal blueprint for strength, success, or adulthood, proposing instead that power can be reclaimed through choice, authenticity, and the courage to step outside the script we are given.

  • Raffle held on the night, with 100% of proceeds donated.
  • First 50 people to secure a (free)ticket will receive a FREE A2 limited edition fine art print on opening night
  • This exhibition supports OzHarvest and Speak & Share, with a portion of sales donated.
  • Free drinks and canapes provided for the first hour then available to purchase post that
  • All welcome!
  • An exhibition uniting the community to make a positive impact through art.
  • The artworks will be on display for one month.
