Outloud

UNITY is an arts and empowerment program for girls and gender diverse students to learn about healthy relationships.

Based on our successful <a href="http://outloud.org.au/profile/respect/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">RESPECT</a> project for boys, we’re launching a project that can change the conversation in our schools, families and wider communities. We’re equipping young girls to have conversations about consent, body image, friendship, gender roles and pressure from peers. Over two terms, during in-school workshops, they learn singing, songwriting and performance skills, and write and perform their own song about concepts they’ve learned in the course. Join us to hear from speakers about the importance of teaching young people about healthy relationships, and to learn more about our new workshops.
